[[Anna Rundae is (c) to
kyio. This is the second LJ account bearing her name. She is currently active in
villageofsheol.]]
Age: 19
Sex: Female
Race: British
Birthday: April 9th
Height: 5"3
Weight: 122 lbs
Hair Color: Blond
Eye Color: Dark green
Build: Uhm ... normal?
Orientation: Heterosexual
Beliefs/Religion: Raised Protestant
Astrological Sign: Aries
Family: Grandfather and grandmother
Status: Living in Tokyo with Ro as a roommate, working in a restaurant as a waitress to pay off her apartment.
Personality: Anna is a in-your-face kind of girl. She does her best to not let any setbacks bother her, and for the most part, they don't. As a fan of mysteries and the occult, Anna loves investigating things ... and people. If you're too quiet, then you have a deep, dark, secret past that absolutely must be known to her. If you're too loud, then you're hiding a poisonously painful secret that you're trying to cover up. If you're normal, then there's clearly something wrong with you and she's got to find out what it is! Asking nosy questions, babbling on about the pasts of her friends (the few she has), and talking about things that would otherwise make people uncomfortable is her forte.
The girl does have a softer side, just like Sears. Good luck trying to find it though -- she only lets it out for people she's especially close with, and there are only two people she has ever let see her kinder, worried side. She especially won't let someone witty see such a side of her, as she absolutely hates witty people; they can disarm any of her arguments fairly quick. She also has a habit of calling people "love" instead of by their names, along with a slight slang-like tone to her accent, as she picked up cockney from the kids around her school and used to speak it often.
Background: Some children want to be police officers or firefighters when they grow up. Anna wanted to be God, because if that guy could see everything, then he knew everything too.
Born in London, England, and raised by her grandparents, Anna never knew much about her parents. She met them from time to time on holidays and the like, but they always seemed so distant, so she didn't really know much about them. The mystery of why her parents didn't raise her themselves and why she seemed so distant always bugged the girl, eventually putting her into the habit of asking nosy questions to everyone who knew them. Soon, her questioning didn't stop with why he parents were the way they were -- she soon wanted to know why everyone did what they did in their lives and what mysteries were hidden deep inside them. Her grandparents always found her nosy behavior amusing and never scolded her for it, which all the people Anna eventually came in contact with would love to smack them around for.
Growing up, the girl was especially nosy with the kids in school. The quiet kids had a definite air of mystery about them, the loud kids were totally hiding something and trying to cover it up by being loud, and the normal kids were just faking normality; what could possible be 'normal' about anyone, anyway? When she hit high school, she got especially nosy with one half-Japanese boy in her class who even gave her Japanese lessons as a way to make her shut up and go away (which didn't work, of course). After forcing her way into his life, and the life of his friend, she started her 'investigations'. This meant she got to drag the two all over London to ask people whether there were strange sightings, who had mysterious pasts, what the latest gossip was, and whether they had seen her male friend's mother, who apparently disappeared mysteriously (which insured that she was never going to leave the poor boy alone no matter what). And yes, she did indeed randomly stop people on the street. It got to a point where she was scolded by the police for harrassing tourists, but that never stopped her. Not for long, anyway. She especially didn't want to leave that boy alone when she found out that he had a split personality. Her friends fascinated her more than friends probably should.
When the girl hit 16, she got hit with one heck of a surprise when midnight struck. Her computer shut itself down, the lights went out, and everything seemed strange. She was caught up in the Dark Hour and she had never been so excited in her life. A year later, after her male friend transferred to a Japanese high school, she soon followed and joined an organization to help defeat the monsters that appeared during the Dark Hour (called 'Shadows') once she was found to have the power to do so. However, she wasn't there for very long, as a fight between herself and her friend over a boy that he had a strong liking for lowered her want to remain there big time. So instead, she turned around and went back to England, going back to the life of asking nosy questions to everyone and their mom.
Around 19, the girl went back to Japan again, mainly to make sure her friend was doing alright and to reconcile with him, but also to attend college. Splitting the rent with another friend of hers, she took to the streets of Tokyo when it came to her nosy questions and 'investigations'. Even though her nosiness had calmed down a little from growing up, she still couldn't help it. It was part of her nature.
There never was much that can get past Anna, but somehow, somethings found a way to do so.
